    S2800 is an aggressive, permanent, acrylic based, deep freeze adhesive with special gum pattern exhibiting high adhesion on fresh meat in both ambient and heavily chilled conditions.

     

    Applications and Use
    The product is specially designed for use for the labelling of meat carcasses in accordance with new EC regulations for compulsory beef labelling.
    Under this compulsory system, operators and organisations marketing beef must indicate on the carcass label information including the places of birth, rearing and slaughter of the animal.
    The product is designed to enable full traceability of the carcass from slaughter through distribution to point of sale using thermal transfer overprint in the form of both ‘machine readable‘ codes and ‘human readable‘ alpha numerics.
