The secret lies in the highly innovative illumination of the Granit 1920i scanner system, which allows the player to optimally illuminate the signs of any kind on any surface. Direct low-angle illumination provides the uniform illumination required for dot dots and laser-etched marks.
An integrated diffuser provides the soft and indirect light necessary for signs on glossy, round or otherwise highly reflective surfaces.
Based on Honeywell's revolutionary decoding architecture, the Granit 1920i scanner offers excellent scanning performance, reads all types of direct part brand and ensures a high first pass reading rates even on the most difficult brands - regardless of size, surface, method of marking or contrast.
The scanner is also able to read standard 1D and 2D barcodes on printed labels, giving added value - a single scanner to meet end-to-end scanning requirements across the complete workflow from the production line at the warehouse.
